The tower clock has a long history. The East Han Zhang Heng made a leaky water switch to the heavenly instrument. The gear system was used to connect the scorpion image and the timing leaking pot. The drip water dripping water pushed the scorpion to rotate evenly. One day just turned one week. This is the earliest object with the tower clock phenomenon. Later, Italy's Dante made the first simple mechanical clock, which was first used in medieval churches in Europe. It is a completely mechanical structure, powered by a heavy hammer, and the bells are completely used to manually hit the cast clock. At that time, a tower clock project was quite complicated in terms of construction and mechanical structure. After entering the electronic age, the electronic tower clock also appeared accordingly. China's electronic tower clock has been developed along with a large number of infrastructure construction, and has reached the world's similar level at the level of technology and application.
Structure and composition
Tower clock is a mechatronic product, that is, mechanical and electromechanical. A mechanical tower clock is a large clock that is installed on a large, high-rise public building. In addition to reminding people of time, the tower also plays a role in decorating and beautifying the building. It uses the heavy hammer as the power source, drives the mechanism to indicate the time through the mechanical transmission, and reports the time by tapping the specially-made "clock". These tower clocks are large in structure and inferior in accuracy and are only found in ancient buildings. The electromechanical tower clock is composed of core control, sub-clock and clock face. The core control system of the tower clock includes the master clock, GPS satellite receiver, timekeeping control, lighting control and other components. The master clock or GPS receiver is the time base of the entire timing system. The control system outputs signals to command the operation of each face clock, and the control system automatically controls the lighting and the timekeeping device to operate on time according to the time signal of the master clock. The sub-clock includes a movement and a stepper motor; the clock face includes a scale, a clock hand, and a disk surface.
Basic skills
1.The tower clock has three basic functions: travel time, time metering and lighting. It adopts two time indications of hour and minute hands.
2.Intelligent drive function: The number of drive plates is 1-32, and the disk surface diameter is 1-10 meters. Automatic calibration function: The sub-master clock system adopts closed-loop control, the movement feedback travel time condition, and automatic calibration. Automatic chase time function: After the system is powered off, the memory unit automatically memorizes the sub-clock data, and automatically catches up to the standard time after the call within 6 months.
Intelligent timekeeping function: automatic high-fidelity CD sound quality music time, using standard British Big Ben music, timekeeping content can also be customized.
3.Automatic timing turns on and off the time amplifier. The timekeeping power is: 100-600W, which can be customized.
4.Intelligent lighting function: automatically turn off the lighting device according to user settings. The current tower clock can also add additional functions or reduce basic functions according to the actual needs of customers. Additional functions are based on the implementation of basic functions, such as: GPS timing, computer monitoring, power-saving memory, fault self-diagnosis, dual-core system and so on.
